Will it fit behind grille or does that mess us the aesthetics?

That would be me. And you are correct, it was not good news. I am fortunate that they are a really good company, and I may be able to relocate to another site. My first choice is to stay in PDX area, but I have to see if I can get a senior level job for level II support. If not, I will have to uproot the fam and go elsewhere.

As I support the technology at the site, we will be here after the official closure to remove all of the hardware and ship it to where ever. I will not get my official offboard date until next month, but it is likely that I will not hang around that long.

Depends on the job. Likely that they would offer to the relo benefits at my level. At least I hope they do. I am waiting for one of the managers at another site to get back to me.

One last reminder about the fly in at the North Cascades vintage aero museum in Concrete.

It's a small air show with a bunch of great people. Two of my friends are the restoration mechanics, it's where I built my bed rack. PM me if anyone decides to go!

Stumbled on these, thought they were kinda cool. Pre-wired and specific for our "blanks"

Small Blanks (under the HVAC controls):

Also, wondering if this guy would be a decent "budget snorkel" with some minor mods (same company as the 1st Gen DIY):

(I love how the description says "Intake Scuba Snorkel Gear Snorkeling Diving" so you know it's good ;))

The view from my tent isn't too bad up here :D

Some local car guys came today, thinking about asking my buddies who run this place if they'd be ok with a group of Tacoma's next year:cool:

On a side note, this was the first time out with my new Tepui. FUCKING AWESOME! It's attracted A LOT of attention. I'm actually surprised that so few people know about RTT.

Negative. Keep it for the next guy. I even ended up with a spare driver side also.

It will be interesting to see what the alignment guys say. The tabs on the inside for the alignment adjusters are folded over flat, not protruding forward, and the front lca adjuster came out in 3 pieces. Normally I think it should be 2? I had to eyeball it and pound the adjuster and sleeve back together. I should have taken pictures.

Hoping they can get it close enough.

great thread for tundra swap really just need to buy calipers, rotors, pads, and decide if you want to drill into the banjo bolt slot to deepen it to fit the stock brake lines, or buy new brake lines (stainless steel).

Take a flat screwdriver and pry them up, then weld a bead on the back side to keep it from happening again. Once you get your alignment squared away, tack weld the cams in place.

Edit: for the UCA bolt, get F-911 or ARP bolts. Grade 8 break too easy. You want a bolt that has a little more stretch to it. Imagine if that happened during a high speed jump or when you are pitching it into a corner. Bad news bears.

I was wondering if there was a UCA bolt upgrade... Where did you get yours? Can't imagine the hardware store had them lol
