    Hey all!
Went grocery shopping and put the bags on the back seat, An ENTIRE bottle of Baby Oil spilled on my back seat....
I have thrown a bunch of baking soda on the seat to see if i can get some of the oil soaked up.

Any ideas what I should do?

Sounds like a good excuse to get some katskinz or wet okoles.

I think you are going to need an upolstery shampooer or a carpet shampooer with the hand wand attachment. Your not going to be able to blot and wipe that mess out of there.

Baking soda is only going to make a mess. You need some sort of oil dry like clay kitty litter. The bad part is that oil is probably deep in the foam in the seat. I don't know if your going to be able to get it out. You might have to get a new seat or strip it down and get it reupholstered. Sorry to hear about it. :(

What you doing with all that baby oil anyway?

    Baby oil, back seat, Hmmmm!

    :)

Serious. I hope you get it out, but the odds aren't too good with oil in the foam cushion.

pull the back seats out (only a couple of bolts) Laundry detergent, and a hose and kneed them.... let them sit in the sun for a couple of days to dry.

So here are the steps I would try (in order)***
    1. Blot up as much of the oil as you can
    2. Use an absorbent like kitty litter to get out more residue
    3. Use an acid cleaner like vinegar and/or lemon juice with alcohol
    4. Use alcohol alone to try and remove anything further oil
    5. Try some type of laundry pre-stain remover
    6. Wash with detergent (dawn, etc)
    7. Rinse like crazy
    8. Let Dry

*** I have no idea how the seat fabric will react to the cleaning, but if you don't get the oil out of the seat fabric and the padding underneath it will eventually seep through your seat covers. Good Luck!

Park near a dealer. Take another car to the dealer lot. Take 2015 Tacoma for test drive. Drive to your vehicle, swap seats. Ask if they have any trucks that don't smell like baby oil.

Actually if its an insane amount of oil that has seeped in, you may want to try shop vac with narrow nozzle on end. It may draw some out

I spilled a little lube in my rear storage panel. Simple Green and hot water didn't get the slick out of it, but it sure does like nice now, all shiny and whatnot.
