Congrats on the new truck, props for picking the manual. I will without a doubt sub to your build thread, it looks like you're not going to mess around, straight to high end mods.

 

Yup, i messed around on V 1.0 and made my mistakes, now I know what i want and what im going to do to V 2.0

Yea, it was a fun drive home. Had a little teenage fun in an empty parking lot for a minute, and then had fun roasting the clutch trying to back into my slanted driveway without ramming the garage door lol. Other than that, water proof seat covers are a must, especially once i get all the performance stuff on

Waterproof seat covers are a must for me too. I really like the TRD seats but they attract dirt, stains, and dog hair like no other. Dog hair was the worst. It sticks under the mesh in the fabric. Spent WAY too long picking it out with tweezers before I put on my wet okoles.

At eagle lakes my little dude dumped a whole cup of coffee on my driver seat while I was out of the truck. Thank god for water proof seat covers. I love my wet okoles, but tbh there are times I wish I went with katzkins

 

Yea im leaning towards Katzkins, but i know i dont want to do them myself, so thats probably a good 2k or so to buy and install them. Might go with WO for now and Katzkins later. Well see how the money fairy treats me this year. Goal is to finish buying everything i need for suspension and tires and then save up for labor costs

 

Yeah the extra labor cost turned me off. But if you watch his thread John puts out some smokin deals now and again. Just gotta be quick bc it's usually just one set.

They kinda are, but much less so than the TRD seats. I can take my hand and wipe the okoles clean of dog hair in a few swipes. Some does pierce the cover, but still comes out. My pup rides with me everyday and hangs in the truck. Impossible to keep up with the hair...

 

Maybe one day I can manage to check some out at a meet or mod day. On the fence between the weatherproofness WOs offer or the ease of cleaning/look and price point of the Clazzio's.

 

WO are way better. Every pic of clazzios Ive seen they wrinkle up alot and fitment just doesnt impress like WO does

 

I think @Mademan925 has clazzios. They looked pretty sharp.

I haven't done shit to my okoles other than vacuum, spray, and wipe em once in a blue moon. They look alright but have a few burrs and stains. Between me, dog, kid, and wheelin dust they have definitely taken a beating though

I have had wo in several cars now and love them. I work in construction so they get fairly dirty. I just throw them out n the washer with soap I use to clean my wetsuits and they come out clean. They are very durable and don't burn you on a hot day like leather can.

 

wet okale's made me have major swamp ass. I got rid of them quickly.
