Short bed, and yes we're linking it. The owner uses it as a Baja Expo rig and is over the issues he is having with axial twist as well as being able to adjust the right height once he is fully loaded for his excursions vs his daily driving load which is almost nothing. And, who doesn't like a linked 2nd gen?

My wife just puked all over the side of the truck...well. Time for links. @jeffz0rz I need a set for a 2nd gen short bed.

And a cage since she got it on the seats too.

Yup. Single upper link, and a panhard bar. Same style as the giant daily driver link set up.

    Cost/pictures?

    Sweet thanks for the options

Yeah that's an option I've been thinking about since I first got the truck. It'll definitely keep the shocks out of my cab but the cost and complexity is not good

How much anti dive are you building it with? Where are you planning on the roll center being?

Anyone with an SUA and 2.5 16" bypasses run into clearance problems (tires rubbing the bypass tubes)? Just trying to think of all scenarios in advance. Im sure its all about how theyre mounted, and im already running 1.25 wheel spacers

What size tires ? Here's a truck I did last year for txmxer. 2.5×16 tripples. No rubbing with 1.5 spacers if I remember right, and with 285's.

No rubbing with 1.5 spacers and 3.hoes. I did notch my frame though to keep them out of the way.

Make sure you have ads build the bypass tubes on the front and rear of the shock that will gain you some clearance and you should notch the frame like @05TacoRunner

    Yes
TBD we just started yesterday. The pics last weekend were just a pre build of the bed cage only, real work did not start until yesterday. We are doing a complete new front kit as well + cam tab gussets, bump cans, motor mount gussets etc so this weekend has been entirely demo work front and rear just stripping it all down to the frame. Rear CO towers being built first to locate the CO's and finish up the bed cage then mocking up links next.
