If you are going to be running wires thru there alot over time, take a Bic pen and take it apart. Use the tube to go thru firewall. Then you can get some wires thru there easily. I wish I would of done this!!!

    It'll be something like this.

No, I don't think so. I just took the angle iron idea from someone else and just kinda went with it.

I added grey Covercraft SeatSaver waterproof cotton/twill covers to the backseat of my DCLB. Wet Okole's up front but I wanted something tougher in the back for my pooch. So far I like them. Very similar to Carhartt material without paying the extra 40 or 50 bucks for the logo.

I also got a Delorme InReach SE satellite messenger to keep me in touch when I'm off the grid. It's got an SOS function like the SPOT transmitters but this can also be used to send and receive text messages to cell phones, email addresses, or other InReach units. With each message is a link to a map showing your location, and the lat/long. I bought it primarily for hunting season but will be nice to have in the truck year round. On the highway alone, I routinely drive 4 hour stretches without cell reception or meeting another vehicle and up to an hour between houses. Instant 911 in accident or contact a tow in a breakdown. 16 bucks a month isn't bad. I also found a promo good for a few more days that gives you lifetime 15% off plan rates.
