I'm still debating on which way to go with my rear lift, aal or whole spring pack. I'll probably just do a whole spring pack from deaver or something.

 

I didn't realize the clutch fluid was ATF. I guess for some reason, I thought it was pale yellow/clear, like brake fluid.

And it is finally raining again here again.

 

Whole pack. Aal is just a bandaid for a year.

You need a relocate. Cause I think these foxes are shorter then your 5125s.

It has to cross the desert that is eastern wa. It'll never make it. I was just thinking it is nice to hace it back for the upcoming expedition.

The original forsale thread listed the part numbers on the shocks. One is the 8.5" used on the drivers side and the other is the 8" used on the passenger. Should be about perfect with the alcans.

That's what I thought. Dot 3 brakes fluid.

 

Your manual says to use brake fluid for the clutch fluid.

Both of those numbers SAE J1703 and FMVSS No. 116 dot 3 are brake fluids. Google 'em.

If they put ATF (automatic transmission fluid) in there, they fucked up.

 

That doesn't sound like much. Be careful flexing that bad boy. Those springs will flex out pretty good. Did you use new bushings?

 

All new bushings. New shackles and bolts all geaseable. Broke a zert too from the Daystar ones. They where push in ones though not screw in like the ome ones.

Igor doesn't get flexed much haha not too worried. For now.

I'll do the tc relocation on him next summer anyways with 10" shocks. Give me tons of down travel.

 

How come new shackles?

 

Because they are greasable. Still stock height.

Wow I can corner hard again with these. Like I never took the sway bar off again. Sweet.

I need one. The nut will no longer thread onto one of them. It happened when Jon swapped in the longrt shackles at christmas. I think you were going to give me one of Franks originals but we either couldn't find them or just forget. I can't remember now.
