I ordered the short version. Problem is that it has to wait to be installed until I fix the tailgate or replace it. As it has a bend in it from years ago. Prior to the TSB.

 

As much as you two guys catch air........

 

I should post some pictures, but no point really, until the time comes for install. I will say this though. That spoiler is very nicely constructed. Sturdy, while still be light. I don't foresee any cracking issues with this style like the TRD spoiler had. Which was made out of plastic, and more costly. The other nice feature is that a simpler version had been tests many times by different drivers, of X Runners, at Virginia International Raceway (VIR). They're feedback was that it helped keep the rear more stable and planted. This plus a panhard bar or something similar will really help stabilize the rear end. However, there are plenty of pictures in that link on XRU.

What exactly is confusing? Not exactly sure how to answer that question, yet.

Sleeper status

 

T56 MGW shifter to Hurst shifter arm adapter.

Here is a new project that I have been working on. It is the non anodized billet aluminum shifter arm adapter. The MGW shifter assembly's original is the gold anodized piece. It comes with the straight set rod, which sits to close to the back of the leather boot. It became necessary to trim the plastic center console to allow proper shift in in the bottom gears. This adapter no allows me a variety of options of shifter arms, and allows clearance for me to have a proper center console.


Been driving it for a couple of days now. I will most likely end up reverting to the style of shifter arm, which is the one I had originally cut. I think over all it will fit just that much better with the center console.

The other arm has a slightly different bend. Should clear the leather cover better.

The only other issue is when going into the forward gears. The bottom forward most edge needs to be ground down just a hair. To make it have a little more of an angle for clearance. It just barely touches the sheet metal. All in all, extremely happy.

 

Does anybody make a manual valve body for the auto Trans?

The valve body upgrade does help drastically though. According to all those whom have it upgraded.

So what about us manuals? Hehe, i had to.

I'm looking at that URD Twin disk setup for when i burn out my stock clutch, how do you feel about those?

 

Don't know. Haven't dealt with theirs. I know they worked hard to make them have a smooth pedal feel. It'll also hold all of the power you can throw at it.

I love my twin disk.

 

So it makes the clutch stiffer or smoother? Or both?
