    "Safety".

    Generally speaking, I agree with that. However, when you're in leathers, sitting in dead stop traffic, and its 90+ degrees outside, I'm lane splitting as a necessary means of survival. The mixture of ridiculous heat and vehicle exhaust is deadly.

    But lane splitting because you're impatient is stupid and dangerous.

    I have never seen anyone lane split in tx. Everyone just sits in traffic lol

    Pretty much. Law enforcement has a hard on for sport bikes, so most don't do anything to needlessly antagonize them.

    Unless you're stunting or riding at triple digits. Then all bets are off.

    Cuz there are way too many assholes around here that will open a door, or move across the lane, or some other form of douchebaggery. I wouldn't do it here unless I were to go off-road.
