Newbie here, here is a photo of my 2003 Tacoma Double Cab. It was a one owner with 78,000 miles on it and i picked it up yesterday for $12,000. It was a long trip (all highway) and i calculated my mpg at 20.8. I was pleasantly surprised. I love it so far.

one thing i've noticed is the suspension on these trucks are STIFF. i guess that's the TRD package. I like it , but it much more stiff than a 4cyl nissan frontier i used to drive.

also, the tires seem to be wearing on the inside edge. it drives straight, just might have to have the alignment checked for this.

I thought my truck rode a little stiff too when I got it. It just took a little getting used to. I think that you got a nice deal on the truck. I looked at a lot of these trucks when I bought mine. I am assuming that its a PreRunner. If its a 4x4, then you stole it...especially if it is in really nice condition.
