Hi Guys it’s me again. I’m looking for OPIONS on a couple of things. I have a 2015 DCSB/ TRD offroad. My first question is, do you think I NEED seat covers? I ask because in my old GMC either I shoulda got seat covers or nerf bars. I didn’t listen to advice then when I got my sierra to get nerf bars to save the outer edge of my seat from getting in and out, as some of the stitching came out. Having written that, I just don’t like nerf bars. I’m also not that crazy about seat covers unless they look pretty much factory. So will the Toyota seats hold up over time with NORMAL use? I read in posts about “wet okole” covers. Its seems like the favorite on this forum, so whereas I value you ladies and gentleman’s opinions and value your time you take to reply to my questions I won’t make the same mistake this time by not heeding your suggestions. Thank you in advance and be well folks.

Seat covers nor running boards will really "save" your seat. The seat covers will protect the seat from the sliding "in" and "out" wear, but that's about as far as it goes. The seat is just going to flatten out over time by everyday use. Wet Okole seat covers are really nice and I've considered purchasing a pair due to the look and feel.

I think you should get them. the seat bolster on the drivers seat facing the door will wear and look like crap after time from simply getting in and out of your truck. the fabric stains from just water or condensation from a water bottle. I had TRD seat covers and wasn't a fan, I now have Clazzio leather covers with seat heaters under them and love them

Hello, we've had 6 Toyota trucks since 85, seems like the driver seats wears through from getting in and out. I just purchased my 15 DC 4x4 and one of the first mods that I did was purchase Clazzio seat covers. They are a bit pricey but look awesome. My buddy had a set for four years and they showed no signs of wear.

With my 05, the drivers side fabric began to develop a hole, above the lumbar support knob/seat back lever, from sliding in and out. The truck also has factory steps, just for the record. Eventually I bought a full set of custom fit CoverKing neoprene covers through Costco. Been happy with then ever since.

Big fan of Clazzios. One of my first mods for the same reason and probably my favorite to date. Although I will suggest this: if you wear a pocket knife or wallet chain be careful about sliding around on your seat The clip from my pocket knife (back pocket) has kind of worn into the seat cover a bit and it now shows some wear 2 years later. Not a problem with the Clazzios themselves and totally my fault, but worth noting just to prevent damage. Probably would have stayed new looking longer if I wasn't so rough my stuff. I usually have a lot of random things/tools hanging off of me at any given time so I knew it would happen eventually.

Ok Guys, thank you for the quick replies, and thank you for turning me on to another manufacturer “Clazzios”. MDB Taco, a big thank you for the photos. Ghost ship, yes I always carry a pocket knife, thanks for the heads up.

Go to Clazzio.com and talk to Tyler he does price match Sparks TRD. But Clazzio.com is the only place you can buy the 3 year protection warranty for 69.00. And I have already used it on a headrest.

Also be sure to ask about coupons or a discount. They have a coupon page.

If he price matches he won't let you use a coupon unless he has changed his way of doing things

I got CalKing Neoprene and really like them. They suit me well given I kayak and duck hunt. Though we always plan to change out of wet and mucky wear before getting in, it doesn't always happen that way. Neoprene provides a water barrier and is easy to clean. I like the look, but that's a personal choice. Your options for color, etc. are really broad. Happy choosing.. IMG_20150627_082830563.jpg

I really like them and the feel, to me a real fucking bitch to put on. I did it in 90 degree weather and with a heat gun.

I believe your right. I called them directly and they said I couldn't combine coupons. So I assume it would be the same. No combining price match and coupons. It all turned out about the same. Awesome customer service. Super nice people.
