Another question I was looking at rims because I've decided to pull the trigger on getting new alloy rims to cut some un-sprung weight. I'm going to stay with the 15" but was going to go to 7" width for more options on rubbers. Even though I plan on going with 235/75/15 and I know they will fit on the stock 15"-6" stock steel rims
What is the stud spacing 4.5, 5.5, or ??
What kind of offsets and backspacing should I look for?

the stud spacing is 4.5in or 114.3mm, I'm not sure of the offset I ended up going with a 17x7, zero offset, 4in backspacing

Thanks how do they sit in the wheel wells with 0 offset and 4" backspacing.

Thanks, was the spacer necessary to clear the brake caliper or was it just to get the tires sticking out and looking badass

I haven't even mounted them yet, I just installed the lift yesterday so hopefully I'll get them on in the next few days after an alignment. I'll post pics when I do.

A little bit of both but mainly for the calipers. Oh I also had to use longer lug nuts and new TPMS sensors. All in all though I'm still using the original bolts on the axle and everything is snug.

    Heres how she sits now

sorry for the lag in the build had a minor set back financially.......
What size diameter muffler would I need 2.5 or 2.25?
I thought I read that Toyota used metric sizes which would make sense considering we are the only idiots that are special enough to have our own units.......

Truck looks great, would like to get the same look as far as the stance, where and roughly how much did those rims cost you?
and do you know how much they weigh? Trying to cut as much weight there as I can and also looking for that style rim. Thought they would look good with the rack.

Got the same issue more or less with my 2013 Taco, don't want to lift it, am now resigned to having the local shop build me some new leafs as the OEM ones are an abomination. Toyota's been getting complaints and quietly doing TSBs on the rear leafs for those who are smart enough to look the TSBs up and complain; you'd think listening to ten years of bitching from your customers would lead to some changes but I guess not.

I've looked it up and can't find any tsb for the leafs for a 2010. The only tsb I have found for a 2010 is the airbag spiral cable thing.

So I just replaced my squealing belt with a new belt which turned it into a rather consistant squeaking belt, any advice? Could it be there is not enough tension on the belt?

Sorry for some reason didn't see this post. The rims went for like $120 a piece but you will need new tpsm sensors as well. Also dont forget to remove your black box and add the spacer
As for weight heres the link for that info https://www.mickeythompsontires.com/wheels.php?item=ClassicIII

for the rear you could use air bag or superspring helper springs. [IMG]
for the belt you could put some silicon inside the belt while engine turn off, right after you put it on, start the engine and the sound should be gone in a few second... thats a old mechanic trick see if it work...
