To be honest I've never heard of them. Or researched them. I just decided fox was the route I wanted to go with. I could look into them just to check them out.

I've heard a lot of good things about ads as well. i was wondering about ORIs as well, kinda pricey though.

I just don't like the blue on the Kings. Not my flavor.

Oh yeah I remember seeing those bypasses. I didn't like the ADS logo on the bypasses so I didn't even bother checking them out. They sound like quality shocks when I just read about them.

    With cost. Looks matter.

Great build so far! You know you can get kings in whatever color you want right? Just call King and tell them what color you want the shocks.

Some parts sitting around to be put on. Spindle gussets, dual battery box, hoops for cage and ratchet straps. I went with grey.

I'm going to change it up since I don't have much time. Starting on the tundra axle project. Cut, grind, wire brush and truss design.

    Cool battery box!
I must have missed something, why the Tundra rear? Is that just to match the front long travel track width?

Pretty much. Or I would have to run 3"- 3.5" wheel spacers. I don't think that would be safe.

All stripped down. Time to design the truss and skid. I have big expectations for what's ahead. It won't look like an tundra axle when I'm done.

Yup! I knew I got the idea from somewhere. Thanks man. I've been scoping your thread to see how your truss is placed and how the leaf bolts run through. I'm also going to relocate the fill plug like you did.

When you built your truss, make sure your weld lines for the truss on the axle tubes are 180* opposed. Otherwise you risk warping the tubes if you don't have a jig or having to guess at preloading.
