Where to get good prices for factory acessories?

I noticed some vendors sell higher price for later models even though it's the same part. For example, as far as I understand, the tube steps should work with 05 to 2010 but one vendor sell like $30 more for the 2010's

Every vendor is different and why they price their products like they do.

You just gotta shop around and do a lot of internet price quoting.

What you find to be the cheapest price for one thing, doesn't always mean that same vendor is gonna have everything cheaper. I think that's where they brainwash you..... You purchased from a vendor once because you found a cheap price - you're more likely to go back and purchase from them again AND tell all your friends about it (even though, the next thing you buy from them isn't the cheapest option)

If you're talking about Toyota parts/accessories..... You can PRICE MATCH. If you find it cheaper through one dealer/or online - you can call your local dealer and sometimes they'll honor that cheaper price even though they quoted you a more expensive price.

 

When I have bought parts for my truck from the dealer I asked for the manager and ask them if they will match prices online... I type the part number in google and that usually gives me a list of prices. I find the lowest one and usually my dealer will match that price. I'm not sure if every dealer will do this but it would be worth a try.

After days of looking on the net, this one is the cheapest (from ChampionToyota) and seems most ligit. Some of the sites are so flaky.

Well, got a call from Trademotion (aka Toyotaworld, ChampionToyota), they wanted an addition $50 for the shipping. Ended up getting one from a local dealer where I got the truck from for $10 cheaper and no waiting.

 

How come when you search in 2009 you can't find the tacoma.????

 

rockauto.com i looked for a factory grill forever and kept finding them between 117 and above, they had it for 75.
