Just looked at your build and loving the 255/85/16 on the f-5! The stance is sweet. Can't wait when I can get tire and wheels!

WOW, Lots of detailed pictures, nice to see. I pretty much did the same thing to my 91 but didn't have to do as much to the frame as you did. Nice job. I just picked up another red truck 91 for restore. It's going to be a lot more work then my black truck though.

    Truck looks clean! And thanks!

Got my retrofit done! Came out great! There so bright! Drove it a couple more times and noticed when you put it in drive it takes like 5 seconds for it to go into first and it bucks when it does. Is it cause the rear end is still too high?

Got the mesh cut out for my satoshi and got it primed also.

    Pics of everything coming soon!

Finish the retrofit. You cant even compare them to stock, its unreal how bright they are.
H1 kit with gatling gun shroud painted with krylon fusion and amber halos. All from theretrofitsource.com

Started fitting the mesh into the grill.

Here it is just sitting on the truck. Nothing is attached yet.

    Primed

Then it was on to the rear plate bumper. Using 1/8" thick steel.

cut slots so we could bend it.

The rear and front bumper are now ready to be primed then painted, my mom and dad helped me out to get some 16" SCS F-5 3.5bs in gun metal gray and some cooper discover st maxx 255/85/16! So excited wheels should be here by Monday tires should be around that time as wheel. Couldn't get the bilstien 5165 so went ahead and ordered some 13" Icon 2.0 from downsouth motorsports that where shipped today. Pics of progress will be soon.

Ya its loud. I haven't really got to drive the truck much then just down the road. I like the sound, its throaty. Can't really give you a good insight of how it sounds in the cab going down the road or what the drones like. I have some sound deading material in the truck as well.

Oh ok i forgot about the deadening stuff you added lol. I had ordered a 50 that was was the wrong size so im sending it back for a 2.5inch in and out, but i was considering a 40. Also how did you get the LEDs in the dash red? I love the color red and would totally do that. Also how exactly did you configure your retro kit? (im a bit confused by the question the site is asking)

I got the LEDs off of superbrightleds.com. there 194 bulbs. Make sure you got the 360° ones. You need 4 for my dash. You just have to get the guage cluster out and you take the stock bulbs out from the back and pop the LEDs in. Make sure you test them before you put it back together if you doesn't work you just turn it around.

I bought the retro kit off of the retrofit source. It the h1 kit. I got the Gatling gun shrouds and amber halos. There the halos you can run amber constantly. You put the headlight in the oven then pry the lens off. Take all the stuff out so you just have the reflector bowl, then I painted it with krylon fusion satin black. Then there is directions on theretrofitsource.com how to install the projectors.
