    I wouldn't think it would hurt anything. The lip on my Leer barely turns down at all and doesn't cover the rail.

    Some TN thread advice please. I found for sale a pair of used (5K miles) rear Icon 2.0 shocks. When they were taken off one has a 1/2 inch longer body. Both appear to have 10" of travel. I asked Icon and sent pics and they don't know what is up with it. They said I should be able to run them without prob since he did. They said it shouldn't over extend because the leafs limit down travel and as long as it doesn't bottom out on itself there shouldn't be any probs. since they are 1/2 off he offered 1/2 the original quoted price.     If it doesn't bother you then go for it. Run the one with the shorter body on the driver's side, taco lean in the rear will even them out.

    These are from some guy? Or from icon? This seems strange like one is built wrong. And are you on a stock leaf pack? If so then he's right about the leafs not having the travel to use that shock. Stock shocks are only 8"

    So what's the price for the pair? Better be cheap as shit. That's a manufacturer defect. I can't believe the guy took them like that. If you bumped the rear end in anticipation for the dimensions of that shock and one shock body came 1/2" longer then you are either changing your bump point or you are about to destroy that shock just figuring they were the same length

    ^^^ this needs to be engraved in everyone's mind, especially about suspension parts. We've seen this a few times now just being brought up in here.

    So Justin I would buy them for $50 only because your stock leaf pack doesn't have 10" of travel in it. I would however check your bump when you put them on.

    Has anybody thought about the fact that they could be valved differently. Do they have part numbers stamped in them to cross reference?
