image.jpg I was looking for some help on the alinment topic. I have always been able to get pretty much perfect alinment since I switched to total chaos ucas. But over the weekend I changed out my shocks for kings and went in to get an alinment. When I picked up the truck it was rubbing horribly on the drivers side only. (Actually touches frame on drivers side with slightly turning.) the passengers side is fine. I tried to ask the shop about why and was pretty much cussed out... So I just left after paying...

Could another shop do better or is something wrong with my truck?

    Cussed out?.....

Could be that the lower control arm cam/s are seized and they couldn't make the correct adjustments, or it could be that the alignment guy just doesn't fully understand what needs to be done.

Yea. It was almost like they were in bad moods. I asked a question and they started yelling and swearing. It was quite weird. Honestly I think their alinment guy doesn't know what he was doing but before I go and pay another shop I was going to check and see if it was worth it.

The Caster is way too low for having Total Chaos UCAs installed. Also too big of a split if you ask me.

    This^^
    Per Wheelers website:
"TC developed the UCAs to add 4 degrees caster to the suspension when aftermarket coil over shocks and other lifts are installed"

They should have no problem getting your caster in spec unless the cams are seized on the LCA.

Right side looks good. Left side looks shitty.

A 1* difference in camber from left to right and .7* caster is kinda ridiculous. Seems like he set the toe first and didn't want to fix the caster/camber and have to reset the toe. I'd bring it back and tell them what to set it at. YOU are the paying customer.

Pretty much this, but just realized this is a 2015, so I doubt the cams would have had a chance to seize yet.

But cussed you out? Pretty sure I would have taken the keys, told them to fuck off without payment and to enjoy unemployement after the word gets out.

I had already paid. So they didn't care how they treated me.

Wow. That sucks. Cancel payment? At least get on the regional Tenessee thread and bash them.

Ha...another me....Just went thru this horrible alignment experience. Took them 3 times and f*ucked up all 3. By the 4th time I talked to store manager and politely asked him to refund my money...he was so happy to do so.

Come back and give them one chance to fix it. Good luck to you.

Got it fixed at an alignment shop down the road. First place explained that the lady at the front desk (Owners wife) is on some type of medication that makes her mean....

    He is refunding my money
