Nice!!!!!! Definitely watching for release. How often do you charge the batteries? I assume you pull them from the light to charge at certain intervals?

They don't use "Lifetime LEDs" right???

I haven't had any issue with them going dead. The only time I charge is when I've been using the light a lot.

No Lifetime products here, we want these to last. Haha

This might end up being a mount with screw holes. The plastic in this truck is like teflon. I've been working with 3M to select a reliable tape, but so far haven't found one that gives me confidence.

The version of their VHB (very high bond) tape that they selected for me, sticks to everything but this plastic. Just as a goof, I stuck it to the side of my Audi. I almost had to use the jaws of life to get it off.

It might be better to supply the mount with screw holes and four screws meant for plastic.

    Feedback on the screw holes?

I definitely can't have mounts falling off on people. And what happens when someone buys this kit in the winter? No tape is going to stick well to cold plastic, and it needs 72 hours to fully cure. I don't think anyone wants to keep their truck warm for 72 hours.

My only feedback is that my trucks leased and I wouldn't want to screw into the seat...

I hear ya. Mine is leased too.

This is how I'm looking at it: if they say something when I turn it in, I'll just screw the mount back in. Some lucky person will get a free light out of the deal.

Most times though, they don't even look at the truck.

The other option is to mount it behind the back seat as shown a few posts back. It's a more practical place to put it anyway, and they'll never see those screw holes.

I stuck one to the side of my toolbox. It holds like a bear on surfaces like that.

any chance you could post a video of putting the light in and out of the mount and how it 'clicks' in? I like the mount, but at high speeds and lots of bouncing around I seem to have all the stuff in my door bounce out sometimes lol.

    Hmmmm...

..sounds like you are having too much fun while wheeling? Dial it back! If you find yourself grinning ear to ear you're overdoing it. Try picturing yourself in a Frontier that's not only your DD, but also full of babies that are as fragile as Donald Trump's hair follicles. Maybe then you can afford to have nice things like flashlights and mount kits.

That looks pretty cool. I have quick fist holding mine but I could see this being used in a lot of other applications. I'm interested.
