I believe you'll need an out of state OHV permit too for Utah but don't know much about that as I haven't ridden OHV trails out there yet.

I imagine bikes have a bit more liability to them. And they probably have to provide more than just helmets. Probably why lol

 

...or a recommend a good shop to take it to? I forgot to mention if I could get a helping hand, beer and food is on me!

 

Halfway through my instructor certification. Made all the guys mad today because I passed the shooting test with a 100% lol. 20 shots at 15 yards with a 6 inch target. You had to get 15/20 on the target. I got all 20 and they didn't lol

Nah I was pooped from Grays (I'm a fairly fat bastard, even though I'm down 15 lbs so far). I estimated it'd take an hour maybe an hour and change to get up to the top of Torreys at my slow pace and the weather was starting to build so we just hoofed it down. Rolled out of the parking lot as it started to rain, though I did have rain gear. I want to loose another 40-55 lbs and then try the class 3 ascent for Torreys.

Maybe I'll go back this Sunday and do Torreys along the easier route though I might just take the bike down and do the Manitou Springs incline again to give myself a break.

i tried to get grays and torres in one trip a couple years ago with my father of 60, same thing by the time we summited grays weather was on top of us, rain at the summit so we decided to just bag that idea and head down. Don't kid yourself just Grays is a very long day if i remember right its like 9 miles round trip or something. we were on the mtn at 7am and didn't get back to the car that afternoon till at least 1 or 2pm. GOOD WORK!!!
