Might be getting into that side of this too! Not at Newport news but I'm sure you can figure out where based on my location ;)

But interviewed for to be a nuc inspector out here. Interview went well so now just waiting for the upper management guys to make selections. But the three interviewers all liked me and I know for sure at least 1 recommended me (called me after the interview). So hopeful will know in another 2-3 weeks.

    Well...

I took the job. And now I'm 2 years and 3 months in. Not a bad gig...construction management for one of the largest developers in our area. I began by overseeing construction at the owners 1400 acre hobby farm. barns and other buildings including a lakefront "cabin" (hardly). I also spent over a year overseeing the remodel of the owners personal bay front mansion. Spent 2 million on the remodel of a 10 year old home. :goingcrazy:

Now I'm finishing up the Lake "cabin" and involved in the commercial side. Retail/restaurant and class A office build-outs. And a new 20,000 sq ft 2 story building coming out of the ground.

Decent job. Good peeps for the most part. Great pay. New office. Bennies. I think I'll milk this one for a few more years. :D

I worked for a BMW road racing team and performance shop for 5 years traveling all over the country. Recently changed to an equipment mechanic position at the local regional airport. Get to operate and work on a variety of equipment from zero turns to wheel loaders and snow plow and broom trucks. When not working on equipment help do mowing and snow removal in winter time. Nice to work a 7 to 3:30 job and no travel with really good benefits and pay. Get to see some cool planes and helicopters flying in and out some days.

Part time Funeral assistant for the largest funeral company SCI. I pick up the decease and do funeral services. I am still surprise that I get the same amount per check sometime more as if I was a full timer. Whats more fun is during the weekends, I sit on my desk for 8 hours of YouTube and tacomaworld.
