I was thinking gilmer since it has a nice mix of trails. Shooting for early Septemberish or maybe just waiting for the end of October Halloween run when it'll be cooler outside for camping.

 

I'll be up there with the TX4WD drive guys in October.

Last year was amazing. Just cool enough in the night to need a thin blanket.

 

I even made a flyer for them to advertise the event.

 

That's what I'm wanting. I don't want any part of this 100+ degree weather and camping in it.

 

I'm ok with camping in the summer as long as I know I'll be spending most of my time kayaking, swimming, or cycling in the shade.

 

Don't need armor. Just need 4x4 lol

I would really recommend having sliders before going to any park. The approach and departial angles on tacos is pretty decent so I wouldn't worry about front or rear bumpers. But I would definitely want sliders.

 

I have to Agree with this. My sliders have payed for themselves quite a few times.
