    I completely understand. I know BMRA has cabins to stay at. And in this heat, that's the way to go.

    Anything further than Galveston or Spring is too far for you.

    I was thinking gilmer since it has a nice mix of trails. Shooting for early Septemberish or maybe just waiting for the end of October Halloween run when it'll be cooler outside for camping.

    I'm ok with camping in the summer as long as I know I'll be spending most of my time kayaking, swimming, or cycling in the shade.

    I would really recommend having sliders before going to any park. The approach and departial angles on tacos is pretty decent so I wouldn't worry about front or rear bumpers. But I would definitely want sliders.

    I have to Agree with this. My sliders have payed for themselves quite a few times.
