Just picked up a 2015 TRD Off Road. How do I remove the warning sticker for the "Differential Lock System Operation" that is plastered to the upper part of the driver side door panel?

This is our third second generation Tacoma and I know that the interior plastic is really sensitive to scuffs and interior cleaning products. For sure I don't want adhesive left on the area where the sticker was located and I don't want any visible signs that it was there. I'm sort of "anal" about my trucks

Sure would like a response for someone who has actually done it without messing things up.

I just peeled mine off. ;)

I hate stickers. Just got a brand new leer canopy. First thing to go was that hideous leer sticker they put in the middle of the rear glass.

I peeled mine off and stuck it to the back of the 4wd card that's in the visor. Do it on a warm day and it will leave hardly any residue.

If I do remove the sticker and there is a bit of residue, what is the safest chemical to remove the residue?

Its like a mattress tag. If you remove it, you will be arrested

I have a 2015, I just peeled it right off, no residue. If there is use Goo gone as others have stated. I did re-stick one of the stickers under the center arm rest lid so I would have it as a reminder. :)

I found that there is almost virtually no point in being anal about vehicles now. They are a material object which could easily be destroyed in a moment.

I peeled mine off on a warm day with no problems as well. I tossed mine though as the same message is in the owners manual I believe.
