    Ok well, i should be installing the core shifter next week, and then doing a good thousand miles road trip, so maybe ill change it when i get back.

    Since this oil change is pretty damn easy i do my change more frequently than 100K.

    That is pretty much what i have done. When ever i change out the diffs/t case.

    Bringing this up from the depths because I changed me own 6 speed tranny fluid today!:D

    My truck was at 75515 today. I had the clutch/throw bearing replaced about 2 years ago and not sure if they have to drain the transmission to do that job?
    So overall it was easy though somewhat a pain in the ass. On your back trying to maneuver a socket wrench is kinda tough. My bolts came off easy, and being the first time I used a torque wrench, (I'm no mechanic) I think I set it right at 27, but it never clicked, so I left them "snug".

    Filling wasn't bad, I bought 3 different pumps all listed here. Ended up using the one that goes in the top and even though it wouldn't screw on I didn't spill any! I filled to it started running out, gave it just a little shot more, and let it drain for a few seconds.
    Still have a little RL MT 90 left.

    Cleaned up, and checked the truck after about 30 minutes, no leaks.

    Test drive, and I can tell a difference, no smells so I must have not over filled it. Check again it the morning for any leaks.

    Overall took my around 30-45 minutes. Most time spent trying to get the socket wrench in place on the fill port.
