So question on the Tundra brake upgrade - will this work with stock wheels - I think I saw that 199mm rotors would but I'd prefer the 231mm rotors. I just know I've warped the stock rotors towing our boat on my last taco and want as big a rotor as I can fit when I do this upgrade.

Where'd you get the SS brake lines. Don't want the red ones like Wheelers got since I'm gonna PC my calipers blue

Depends on the stock wheel but I believe it works with most 16" wheels. I know it will work with mine.

stock wheels will not fit the 231mm larger Tundra calipers in most cases, the 199mm smaller one is fine.

just keep in mind the pre made kit they sell is the 199mm calipers, they are unpainted, hawk brake pads..

its best to piece it together instead.

I was a little unsure of reman vatozone calipers but since I was recently forced to buy some myself, I am impressed with them so far. Won't think twice about going that route when I tundy upgrade.

They have a few different options. It took me awhile to find Reman OEM tundra castings instead of the Reman Cheap Chinese castings. You can noticed the difference in quality and the overall color of them. The OEM reman is going to have a darker finish and the cheap casting is going to have a lighter finish and you can tell the quality difference. All in all, it comes down to what you prefer. They both will stop your truck perfectly fine lol

never mind... I don't think I can do it then since I have the stock size Mud tires. 31 x10.5 R15 and to be changing rims and tires .. way to much 4xwallet.... I guess I have to put aside that brake upgrade into later ...later to do list.

No reason for spacers to freak anyone out as long as you check them periodically and make sure they are torqued correctly. I've been running my spidertrax spacers for several years now with no issues. Over 80k miles on them and lots of offroad use.

Did the chinese castings have the same markings? On mine the markings were essentially identical the the OEM cores I gave back.

*EDIT* And as far as spacers go I have no concern running them. I wheel the piss out of my truck and blue locktite them every time I take them off.
