Are valve guides reusable?

    The FSM valve assembly diagram designates valve guides as non-reusable:

    I was wondering if the designation is just a CYA or what the case in reality is.

    If the same valves are going in the same spot, I wouldn't worry about it, as they have worn together.

    If the valves we're being replaced, then yes, I'd replace the guides as well.

    Thanks. Unlike my f**kup of the lifter order, I did in fact keep proper track of the valves.

    I'm also replacing the stem seals
