Was on vacation and crazy at work. Recap for last two weeks:

Indycar at Fontana: WOW. Might be one of the best auto races I have ever seen. And I generally hate ovals. More injured pit crew though and I saw that pretty much everybody now hates grass.

IndyCar driver Will Power fined $25K for shoving official - I saw this and asked WTF? Will can be such an asshole.

F1 driver Max Verstappen would consider father-son Le Mans effort - I would love to see this!

Sebastien Bourdais, Chevrolet dominate IndyCar field to win at Milwaukee Mile
I was at the river when this was on, but it looks like I didnt miss much, except Castroneves basically coming from the very back for 2nd. Impressive.

Only a few races left and JPM is in the lead. :woot: I hope he takes the season as champion. I like him much more than Will Power. You're right Danno, Will is an asshole. I actually like all of the top three right now and wouldn't mind either winning the championship.

Not a Dixon fan. Like JPM and Rahal both though. Dixon is also capable of dickery, but not anywhere Power levels. JPM is just a machine and Rahal seems to be a cool dude. Can't wait until they come back to Texas!

Interesting race this weekend. Can't believe Montoya went out early in the race. Glad Rahal maintain his consistency and pick up some more points and take second behind Montoya.

Yeah, that sucked. JPM is still leading, but that hurt. Sage drove like he stole his car. I'm starting to really dislike Ed Carpenter. Every time I see him, it's drama. He didn't like what somebody did. He doesn't like the way somebody races. He's always in somebody's face or losing his shit for something. He needs to do more owning and less racing on his team. He is the equivalent of the an old man yelling at kids from his lawn.

I looked at the replay and it wasn't like Sage ran him up the track and into a wall. He was as close as you could get without touching him and immediatly corrected and left him behind. Was good racing if you ask me. Put Takuma Sato or Power in there and it might have been a different story. Sage deserved that podium finish and will have plenty more in the future.

Agree completely. Sage drove great and it sucks that he had to deal with Ed chewing him out when he was getting out of his car. Newgarden drove awesome too, he's another guy I like to watch. These last two years he has been really improving.

They showed a classic car racing series special on CBS or NBC this past weekend as well. Was nice to see so many people driving these old race spec classics but at the same time I cringe when they race because most of these cars are high dollar or even priceless pieces of art. But boy would I love to take one on track a thrash it about without regard.

I saw a Formula 1 Masters race in Montreal last year with F1 cars from the 70's and 80's , it was pretty cool

I'm hoping when I go to COTA next year they will have the same thing. Would like to make a trip up to Canada as well for F1.

Prior to the f1 in Austin a couple years back, there was a Ferrari Challenge race. That was hoot, all 458's. Those guys didn't mind f'ing up their cars. Or at least if they did, it didn't stop them from rubbing.

The Ferrari Challenge runs as a support series every year in Montreal

The Honda 200 looks like it's going to be good this weekend! JPM still on top but Rahal and Dixon within striking distance and Dixon has won this race 3 out of the last 4 years. He pretty much owns this track.

I haven't looked it up, but for some reason I remember somebody saying that the Ferrari Challenge is mostly gentleman racers. Anyone confirm that?

Rahal drove a nice race to the podium. I found it hard to concentrate watching at the bar, between the IPA's, fish n chips and the riffraff. It would be 31 of 90 laps and the next time around it was like 40 of 90. Plus no sound. I might rewatch it again at home. JPM was looking like he might be able to take a podium mid way but didn't see what happened to him. At least Dixon didn't win.

Damn , I hope Justin Wilson is OK , looks like he took the nose structure of the crashing car right to the helmet

Airlifted out of the track , that's not a good sign

I was watching this yesterday, hope Wilson recovers. What a crazy race, was bummed to see Rahal taken out by someone not in the Championship points race. At least JPM made it out unscathed.
