Thanks everyone! Mine was actually done through my work. One of our employees is able to run the classes to get people certified.

 

Same...well apparently my AZ permit isn't valid in CO once I got a CO license. Really need to get my COCCW though.

I'm going to start out teaching the first steps class, which does qualify you for your concealed carry. We do have a separate class for just CCW. First steps is for those who aren't too familiar with guns. I don't have a class signed up that I'm teaching just yet for the first steps. I'm going to assist in one this week. And I may only be teaching women's ones for now since Id be taking away classes from the other employees who can't teach the women's ones. But it'll be taught at/through my work here in the springs. But I'll for sure post up here if I'm teaching a co-ed one here soon. The man who runs out CCW classes is really good, and he might not want to share haha

 

I'm saving to buy myself a new carry for my birthday

 

Sweet I'd like to get myself a new gun, so I won't have to keep carrying my 22 but that's $800 I don't have...or that would go into the truck otherwise

 

$800!?! Why not just get a Glock 43 or similar for quite a bit less than that figure? Retail is $550 and if you know anyone in the military, LE, EMT, etc. you can get a blue label with an additional mag for like $100 less.

If I recall I can get a glock for like $300 through a program we have at work. But a few other people here put in orders and they haven't seen them for months.

 

If I had to wait a year for a new $300 Glock I'd put in the order now and patiently await it's arrival. That being said, the blue label program is something you get today as long as a dealer who's able to sell them has one in stock and you can drive your happy ass over there to get one.

Well, at this point I think I mostly just need a granite guy. Having done fix & flips for a while I have done my own tile work so I will likely just do that part myself so save some dough. I'm looking for a granite guy that can make me a deal on doing some remnants for the vanity, shower curb, bench cap, window cap and some niche shelves. We're ripping out a larger soaker tub and turning our tub/shower area into a larger two-person shower instead. I'm going to relocate the drain and redo the plumbing to allow for what we plan to do and it seems a good time to go ahead and do all the granite too rather than use shitty Corian<sp> for those horizontal surfaces. Just putting the feelers out there to see if anyone knows anyone or if anyone has recently had something similar done to give any advice or things to avoid. Example: "Don't use rectangular sinks because they suck because...." or "Frame-less shower doors suck because..." That sort of thing.
