    With my last home project, I managed to accidentally acquire a box of Robertson drywall screws (if you can believe that). Once I figured out what the hell I had ended up with, I was actually quite happy with the results, even though I still did managed to strip one or two of them.

    Might be hard for you to wrap your head around, but you can make a slotted screw into a Phillips head by making an intersecting, right angle cut, in the head with a dremmel........
