I hope to be in this area someday:pout:Its the best part of florida imo. Its got woods, farms, pastures, beach, freshwater etc. I hate when people only think of florida as disney and miami. I cant stand winter anymore, but at least i got connections in palm coast though!

I moved to north carolina had 1 winter with ample snow and decided to move back lol was only up there 11 months. FL has no state income tax thanks to disney and beaches attracting tourists, and no vehicle inspection every year. That alone is enough to make anyone move here. I think atleast

here in assachusetts, we even have "excise taxes" every year. Basically you get taxed for owning and driving your vehicle every year, even after paying for the vehicle. The nicer your vehicle, the more you get taxed yearly. I mentioned this once to my friend who lives in ny, and i had to explain it to him. He's never heard of such a thing. My father wants to get a winter home (nice trailer home or something) in fl eventually. If he does, he wants to register all vehicles in fl, to avoid all this states bullshit. He said they are literally taxing him right out of the state.

i will take fl heat and humidity over the shitty winter here all day long. If you dont ski/enjoy the freezing weather, it is almost half a year wasted indoors every year.

Dude I've said it before and I'll say it again I hate cold weather. I will die in Fl. I can visit those ski places and crap like that but when it comes down to it Fl is the place for me. We have about a 3 week winter then it's over. I love the heat. People tell me all the time well you can't dress for the heat. That's bullshit. Pair of shorts (commando) and t-shirt no shoes and a cold beer. shirt optional. done. I lived in Missouri for 5 years and no matter how many dam clothes I put on I was still cold. F-that. Plus when you go inside you gotta take all that crap off. then go outside put all the crap back on.......WTF. I go to bird Island on my boat sit on a float in the water drinking a cold beer...catch is it's in DECEMBER!!!!!!!!! Usually Jan-mid Feb I can't get on the boat....eh no biggie
