Hey guys!! Looking for some advice! I just found out I'm getting stationed at Luke afb arizona, and I've never been on this side of the country before, the only thing I know is there's some great offroading in AZ. So I have an 2002 taco dbl car trd prerunner back home in wisconsin. She's got 208k on it, and new frame, very lil to no rust, and a brand new eibach/bilstein setup on it with new alloy rims. My concern is what are guys usually running out here on the trails? 2wd or 4wd? Also is my truck worth bringing all the way to AZ being only a 2wd and having 208k. Any help is appreciated. Thank you!

Lots of trails to pre run out that way. You could even do the road to Crown King and bypass some of the obstacles.

You can do plenty in a pre-runner. But you can do more with 4X4, and if you hang here spend more too!
Definitely bring it with you. First Gens are HOT here in AZ (but everything is hot in AZ).

So we brought the new baby home today and her baby sitter already reported for duty. My GS, Zona, has not left her side since we brought her in. All through out my wife's 2 pregnancies, she has been the ultimate protector. It's amazing how quickly a dog adapts to additions in the pack.

So with all this extra time on my hands with taking some leave due to the new baby, I'm thinking about doing the BHLM, color matching my grill, and possibly spray tinting my tail lights.

Anyone done either one and got any tips?

I've heard the krylon fusion black paint is best for the head lights, but should it be glossy or flat back? Can I just reheat the glue and fuse the casing back together or should I buy new casing glue?

What brand of spray paint is best to color match my grill (super white)? Should I even risk clear coating with this AZ sun likely to turn it yellow?

I've read all the mod tutorials for these mods, but none of those threads understand the damage the AZ sun can do to paint. Just need some insight. Thanks here's a beer for your troubles
