Please do not spread shitty information like that. You CAN NOT shoot, kill or beat someone with a baseball bat for a petty theft. Hitting someone with a baseball bat is NOT using "non lethal force". A baseball bat is a deadly weapon. Your ass WILL go to prison and you will most likely get caught tampering with evidence and altering a crime scene which will not only lead to more criminal charges, but also lets the police know that you KNEW what you did was illegal because you tried to cover it up.

We all hate thieves, but you can't just shoot/kill them.

Our cats are not even worth stealing.
About a year ago, I replaced the right side due to a P0420 code and I took it to a local scrap dealer who buys them.
He looked up the number from the cat on a list of cat values and it turns out to be listed as "low grade foreign".
I got $30 for it. I got $60 for the one I took off the wife's civic.

The price of replacing oem cats does not = petty theft. It = felony. Protect your cats with a dog and let the dog decide if lethal force is necessary.

I wish you were right. It was two years ago when what I posted above happened. Literally 16 trucks at the trailhead parking lot got hit. That's 480 bucks if they were all $30 "low grade". I'd say that is worth 40 minutes with a sawzall. And they probably did that at 4 or 5 other parking lots that weekend.

If you were on my property stealing my property. You would receive a beating. Baseball bat or board. Whatever was handy.

I know more than one fellow who beat the shit out of a guy going through their barns or cars. They never went to jail got a hand shake from the cop and the theif went for a ride.

These thieves were not disciplined as children. By discipline I am referring to spanked or held accountable for their actions. When they get caught stealing someone else's property the owner of such said property has to double down to make up for the short comings of the thieves parents. Swing away my friends swing away.

how do we know that thief isn't armed with a deadly weapon while he is stealing property? no one asked him to come and steal from hard working people so he gets whatever punishment I dole out.first they steal then they murder or harm you and your family on your own property I cannot take the chance on my family being harmed while the police are at Dunkin Donuts

You don't. That still doesn't mean you can legally kill/severely injure someone because they're stealing a part off your truck. It's the law. You WILL go to prison. Even under certain circumstances where you used justified deadly force you can STILL be sued and/or be prosecuted.

I'm not saying I agree with it or trying to defend thieves so don't take it out on me. I say we go back to chopping the hands off convicted thieves and enjoy a lower crime rate, but that's not the way the law works.

Good luck to you. It's a fucked up world we live in where criminals have rights and the same laws they disobey end up protecting them.

I suggest some of you look into taking a course in criminal justice before you get yourself thrown in prison over some lowlife shitbag.

You have to fear for your life and be able to PROVE that you had a reasonable fear for your life. State laws vary, but some states have laws which require you to not only fear for your life, but also try to run away from the threat BEFORE using deadly force to protect yourself.

I live in AZ. I stand my ground. :duel:
