    It was real easy. Main section of the sliders are actually tack welded before getting shipped out. Just have to line up the legs and feet, tack them on, and then weld everything up. It helps to have an extra person to lend a hand. Just triple check all your measurements when lining up the legs.

    So is see the talk is all about welding these on the trucks. I am leaning to a bolt on solution as I am concerned with a few things....

    1. Repercussions from Toyota if I ever have any issues down the road.
    2. Changing the integrity of the frame itself by heating it up.
    3. Replacement options if the sliders become too beat up or damaged.
    What would your thoughts be on welded vs bolt on?

    Warren I'm with you on the bolt on, it would be really easy to make those weld on sliders become bolt on. I was going to do that if I got those DIY sliders, I personally have had the CBI bolts on on my truck for about 3 years now and have beat them pretty hard with no issues.
