Anyone wanna do a couple missions on Xbox one? I'm bored as fuck until my gf gets home

 

I ran POE for the first time the other night @ level 28 with my 32 Hunter. I received Hard Light which was the only decent thing. Everything else was that rustburner rare armor crap. I'll do the harder levels so now so I don't waste another key. Speaking of keys I haven't found one in forever. Only have four left.

 

You can have mine. I've got 20 something.

I can find no reason to play Destiny anymore. Got more etheric light than I know what to do with. IB is the only thing I enjoy but the chest piece and helmet are worse stats than my last IB set and I've already got the sniper rifle on each character. I dunno... it's going to have to be spectacular for me to buy the expansion. HoW's sucks donkey dick. PoE is worthless (even at 35 still got a pos fusion rifle). For a game trying to be a semi MMO they are going to have to release content a lot faster and better than they have done. Hell.... they can't even fix Crota

 

You get one per character each week for doing Petra's bounties. You get a chance at them in chests for PoE and ether key chests.

 

House of wolves was waaaay overhyped and def. the worst part of this game. The next dlc will be better just because of a 6 man raid and new crucible playlist and new character subclasses, will be good times. I'm just waiting on sept 15.

 

I wish I could! Seems like I never get them. I haven't found one in an ether chest in over a month.

I swear I've been doing all of her bounties every week and I haven't received a key from her. I think there are players that get tons of drops and players that don't get any. I've only got one bounty left for this week. I'll do it this evening and see what happens.

 

It will be fun for a few weeks. I can almost guarantee that HM in the raid will be delayed for a month or so just to keep you on the hook just like they did with VoG and Crota. I burned through HoW's within 2 weeks and had all my characters to 34. Took about a month to level every weapon due to IB and being lucky with RNGesus and getting etheric light to drop in the NF's. After that you won't have anything to do for 6 months. For a game company to have millions of dollars thrown their way you would think they could release unbroken content faster than they are. Hell... I've still got a queens cipher bounty I can't turn in because it's bugged.

Yeah no doubt. That and Metal Gear look promising. I hope The Division lives up to the hype. They keep pushing the release date back so that, in a way, is a good sign. I would rather them release a game that has most of the bugs worked out than release it too early. No game comes out these days without bugs but delaying the release is always a good sign that they are at least working on them.

 

i gave up on this game and bungie a while ago. they used to have the market cornered with Halo 1/2/3 imo but this game is the biggest let down and their shitty excuses for no gameplay. i wont be buying the expansion at all or probably ever play it.

 

While fallout 3 is one of my all time favs, Bethesda produces the buggiest games I've ever played and the fixes are issued never or way late into its release.

I've put more hours into destiny than any game, because it's a great fps and a fun game with friends. Most all glitches get fixed, weapons tuned, etc. in a timely manner. The only issue I have with destiny is PvP, they seriously need dedicated servers.

 

I'm really terrible at the PvP. I'm trying to get the Red Hand 9 from the new monarchy so I've started dabbling with it. I feel bad when I can't carry my own weight in the crucible. My team will have like 28, 15, 22, 12, 30 kills and I'll have 1 and I'll die 783,000 times. That one kill I get I usually end up killing myself in doing so LOL. I know everybody's got to start somewhere but the best weapon I have for it is the nifty biscuit. You have to be really good to make Hard Light useful and that I am far from. I'll just have to grind thru it and try to learn the maps.

 

Hard light will be king in about 5 weeks!

 

A buddy told me it was getting a buff. Should be interesting.

 

Hey all, just discovered this thread. I am a dedicated casual destiny guy. Love the game and yes I could complain, but why? Destiny is way better than a lot of other games out there and they are constantly trying to fix and improve.

 

Like fixing the Bridge portion of Crota and nerfing the GH?

 

What crack are you smoking? They dont fix anything other than "people arent playing the game the way we want them to"

Or fixing the vault for the six months of getting stuck in the portals, dying through the shield bubble, vex respawning.

 

Never had an issue with the bridge at crota. The only thing I've ever had glitch on me in that raid is the sword disappearing, wasn't a huge deal to me.

 

Me either other than you can just cheese your way through it in less than 5 mins.

 

They've fixed a lot in this game since release and listened to the players mostly. Never played a game that the developers listened to a community like that. Not sure where you got that quote from. Could it be better, oh yes, that's why there's always complaining, a lot of people have put a lot of time into this game and know what it's full potential could be.

Also with VoG, the only issue I ever had with it is getting shot through the relic shield at atheon. But again, wasn't a huge deal, it has a checkpoint and was done in the next 5 minutes.

struggling with the raid mechanics, not having dedicated teams to play with every week, or having connectivity issues can make it a frustrating experience I guess. I've enjoyed it.
