    I moded 1999 Taco so much it had turned to Land Cruiser
    Seen on NY auto Show, but I was hoping its crappy because it supposed to a prototype,
    Unfortunately I just got my frame replaced with new frame from the same Mexico factory that 2016 frames will come, and the paint job is horrible.. so it wasn't just a prototype, I posted pics .. in 2gen forum..

    I live in Minnesota so rust is a considerable concern from road salt. It really sucks Toyota can't or won't do something about this but the new 16s aren't actually out yet so its hard to tell.

    This is a brand new frame I just got from Toyota (picture of 2 days old frame) ....

    Notice bare metal visible.....
    I check and almost every visible weld is like that. So imagine how welds inside the frame looks like..

    BlueT, My Ram HD's AAM rear axle and diff cover have a half-ass paint job. A $5 can of Krylon or Rustoleum satin does wonders. It sticks, and it stays looking black. Easy to do and it works well.
