Holy chit, I've done a lot already!!
That's a neat setup on the jet ski. Can't take the waves as well, but I bet you get to your spot sooner!

    I don't know anymore!
The SUV is HUGE, 12'9" HUGE. Her width was pushing 5'. The rig was designed to fish offshore. Dual batteries, waterproof electronic devices, running lights, cooler, two storage pontoons. It's beast and a popular method of fishing. Didn't have it long. Kinda a project buy, for profit. Fished it a few times, once in Levis and boots. Lol. Stayed dry indeed.

Pike is so rampant up in Alaska that we catch and kill it. they're like rats and they're killing out our rainbow trouts.

Do you eat shark? If so, how do you prepare it. My dad brought me some salmon shark and I've never made it before... we usually just throw them back.

I love eating shark. I usually just grill it with some steak seasoning.

Easy enough. I've read somewhere that it's best to marinade it in lemon or something. I think I might try grilling it and see how it turns out.

    Thanks!

Yeah, I've also seen people marinade it in buttermilk. The main thing about shark tasting good depends on what happens right after the shark is caught. You have to bleed them out right away or else the sharks liver pumps toxins into the blood and it won't taste good.

Well that's good to know. This one was caught on a charter out of Homer Alaska so I'm sure that the crew cleaned it right away.

No, released them all. They are Brown shark which are in the Bull shark family. I think they are protected but not positive. The eatibility is also not favorable. They give a terrific fight and the bathers on the beach are in awe when we land them... A good time!!
