There's something so "right" about the proportions of the RC with that lift and shell. Nice lil' camper too.

Anything with two doors makes me reminisce about wandering around with my girlfriend (who became my wife), before we had these little minions to take care of... Wouldn't change a thing, now. Dad life and Dad truck is cool too. But one day we'll downsize again and disappear every weekend just because we can.

36 years before I retired. And you would be amazed at what people do. People using gasoline or flammable liquids in a garage or confined space with a gas hot water heater always leads to fun. Not quite as big a problem with the water heaters elevated, but still something to avoid. I would like to go tankless as well at some point. Probably when our current water heater goes.

Congrats on your new purchase and welcome to tw, lots of great Info here. First thing you need to do is get your tacomaworld.com sticker, secondly secure you tailgate! Do a quick search for tailgate mod or lock, solutions range from simple hoseclamp on up.

http://www.shapeways.com/ is a great place to have stuff 3D printed out of multiple materials. When you upload a file, it even tell you what materials will work with your file and what kind of resolution you'd get. I run a PLA Prusa 3 that I made from scratch. Not great resolution but I use it all the time. Here's a cell phone holder I recently made.

It's the paddle holster that came with my xdm and just sat in my drawer. I trimmed a lil bit of the holster back, then I drilled two holes into it. I pulled the plastic cover off and used the holster as a template for the cover holes. I than rivited to the cover and put it back together. Alot easier than tightening the spring. Just make sure it's going to clear the hinge before riviting it together.

    I bounce it offa stuff.
Not today but last weekend, installed AFE intake and O2 sim for my Spec-U headers. Never realized how big stock airbox is until I pulled it out. Couldn't get the pax-side engine cover stud thru the cover with everything connected. Called it quits after about 20 minutes of fuckery. And no, I will never understand the payoff to detailing my engine bay. image.jpgimage.jpg

I really want to get a high clearance rear soon but I already have a set of sliders to spray, a CB setup, light bar, switch box and fuse/relay panels, reverse lights, windshield lights, a maf calibrator that fedex lost, and God-knows-what-else-is-in-the-garage waiting to go on the truck. I'm a bit behind schedule. Got to list my Avid stepbars in the BST forum also.
