Yeah the Eibachs should be good then. I'm expecting between 1.5" and 1.75" after the bumper on the 884's. I'm hoping the Recall packs are available soon so I'm not nose high.

 

Got my alinment redone. The shop said it was way out.... Said that the print off that they me was most likely a lie unless I've done serious off roading since. But. I've got good numbers now and I'm happy!

 

One I had done at the dealship took twice too and although a huge inconvenience, they finally got it right. I think the first guy working the machine wasnt quite sure what he was doing. Before they did it the second time, I very clearly spelled out the numbers I wanted to achieve, no matter what color their matchine turned it (green vs red) and it all worked out in the end. Then the guy took me back there to show me what all they were doing when they align it on the machine which was good seeing (just for my personal knowledge). So ive been there and know the frustration.

Got a miller 130 welder today for DIRT FUCKING CHEAP and it works. FUCK YES

Edit* Which means I can begin to get better at welding so that I can build new bumpers.

 

What's wrong with your rear bumper?

 

Nothing, I just want a HC or to fully weld mine because it is only partially welded and I want to gusset everything.

 

Well if you end up frying up a new one in the future let me know. I'll take your current one off of your hands.. Is it possible to add a swing out to that thing?

 

I'm actually in the process of measuring out and trying to design if I could make a swingout work. With All-pro's new dual swing out they stretched the part by the taillight out away from the truck to make the swingout work because theres only an inch before it begins to slope down so I'll have to level it out which would still only give me 2 1/2" between the end of the bumper and the tail light, if anything I could let the outside of the cylinder for the cylinder pivot stick out of the bumper a bit, it wouldn't look the absolute best (from the way I have it drawn, it may look better in metal) but I'll be damned if it would work.

But if I do decide to fry up a new one, I'll keep you in mind.
