For one, I could not believe my truck actually came with two keys and two fobs. But, my question is what are the no button fobs for? Each set has a button-less one as well. Security system? At a lost, so any info is appreciated.

Most cars that come with a valet key have a locking glove box, that the valet key does not open. I dunno why we get a valet key.

I think that's so you have a key that can start the truck, but can't be used to program any more fobs or keys..... But don't quote me on that. It seems to do everything else the "normal" key does.

As for the second buttonless fobs.... :notsure: Beats the hell out of me. :D I got 1 key, 1 fob, and 1 valet key. I'm not paying for new ones so I might just have some walmart blanks cut incase I lock a set in the truck.

The dealership sales guy was puzzled too. He said maybe if I get a tailgate lock, I could have it keyed to open with the black key but not with the grey key.

Does Toyota offer a glovebox lock? Maybe as an aftermarket accessory?
