2016 Tacoma Colors?

My family run company had all red trucks. So yes their is a thought process behind the colors we choose.

 

I wish Toyota offered a darker softer blue. Ford has a color called blue jeans that would look so good on a Tacoma.

 

Toyota offers a similar color in the Camry:

 

Heck yeah. But not on a Tacoma .

 

That's a beautiful blue, almost midnight blue it looks like. I wish Toyota offered this color as a option. I'm not a big fan of the inferno red aka orange red.

 

It truly is and I completely agree. Bounce the inferno or the quicksand and give us some midnight blue.

 

they did offer that color, back in 2012 called Nautical Blue Metallic. that's what the warden has now.

 

No kidding. They sure did. If it was a little softer it would be perfect but it's still sharp looking. I have been on this site since January of this year and haven't seen a single picture of one. Did they offer it for only one year?

 

No thought process...... I was in a 'red' phase for many years. I had 3 vehicles in a row that were red. Blue is my favorite color and I had to have the 'Speedway Blue'. I love the fact its different than the majority of the vehicles out there.

I've come to like the copper color of the corvettes. But....I'm not sure I'm ready to go that route yet. If it looks overly orange - I won't touch it. I'll probably just stay in my 'blue' phase for another 8-10 years and move on to something else.

My husband likes silver, grey, gunmetal type colors. Those colors (to me) are kinda boring and EVERYONE has 'em.

 

The only thought process for me is no red, blue, green, or silver of any kind. Gray, black, white, or tan for me. I like the Inferno but I would never buy one. I'm just not a flashy guy I guess. I love the new Quicksand color.

Ultimately though, I've purchased one vehicle in my life and it was used and color wasn't a determining factor.

 

I think so, it replaced speedway blue, then nautical blue was replaced by blue ribbon.

The blue being offered in the 2016 is my second or third choice and only because it is so bright. If it was a little darker it would be my #1. That being said, if they offered the current color with some fine silver or gold flake, then I would love it.

 

That IS the inferno.... The one I ordered.. The order slip says "inferno"...but the lighting varies in the different pics I've seen..that seem to make a difference.... Hech..My wife's Corolla changes colour in different light also....

 

FYI - I just returned from a visit to my dealership. The sales manager told me that he is getting his first 2016s in at the end of September, and one of the colors is "cement." I asked him if he meant "quicksand" because the color 'cement' has not showed up anywhere on-line in relation to a Tacoma. He was adamant that it was not the quicksand, but "cement."

 

Is that the color the scions are coming in?

 

Perhaps. Maybe as the sales manager, he got the colors confused with the Scion.

 

A cement Tacoma would be bad ass.

 

Dude, the cement Scion is the best color ever. That would be a glorious Tacoma.
