another kink in the hose, and i dont have any experience but i think OZ is running 275/70 on an OME ~3" lift, so that may be a viable slightly taller and wider issue with a little trimming

nevermind thats actually gonna be ~1/2" shorter and ~.4" wider just did the math, and i thought it was 275/75 which would have been a true 32 but the size does not exist

Is he running 275s now? I thought it was a bit of a wait for that sizing availability.

He said he has put a deposit down on a 2016, so maybe not on new tires ATM.

oh heck i dunno anyway there may be a radial size tire that would fit the bill. like a saw some p78x16 or something that are 33.3x8.6 (thin crust pizza cutters for sure or maybe deep dish how ever ur view that) so u may can find something in between these "standard" sizes op but its gonna fall into that "not commonly available" category i would guess

    Here you go:

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/info-on-tire-sizes-and-what-will-fit.320804/#post-8374618

    Here is the text:
    >>> 3. 1″ Lift Equals 1″ Tire Height. The general rule with regards to lift kits is that you can 1″ higher in tire for each inch of lift. So, if you decide to add a 3″ lift, you can add 3″ of tire height. Keep in mind, this DOESN’T apply to width. Adding width is all about buying wider rims with different backspacing.
Just remember that when shopping for tires, you may not always be able to find tires that match both your width and height needs.<<<

He got that data from here: http://partsblog.olathetoyota.com/4536/toyota-tacoma-tire-sizes/

OK, seems we have heard from all who had some thoughts on this... in the long and short of everything it would seem:
    1) The 1" lift (or .085"?) on the front 5100s first lift setting point will permit a 1" taller tire (than the CURRENT 265/75-16), and that taller tire's size is 255/85-16.
    2) With the current tires, the lift in front will raise the body from the tires, but the min. ground clearance (under the differentials) remains the same (as that is controlled by tire diameter).
    3) The Ride Rite air bags in back can raise the truck body several inches, but doing this should be limited to clearing tires and leveling the truck when loaded.

I am looking forward to getting all 4 Bilstein 5100s now for ride control and a little lift in front!

    Thank you!

Got my front 5100's delivered... and inside is the install sheet. Indeed it says the three lift choices are 0.85", 1.75", 2.5". So the video was just off by 0.15" and 0.25" on the first two settings (about 1/8 and 1/4").

Just the essentials and no extra fluff.
A "lift" as it is commonly called does not actually allow you to fit larger tires while maintaining full articulation. A lift only moves that static at rest position of the tire down closer to full suspension drop. When the suspension compresses there is going to be nowhere for that tire to go unless you move some bits of your truck out of the way. So the largest you can go is 265/75-16. You could also fit 235/85-16 or 255/85-16 as these are narrower than stock and as such the Tacoma will have slightly more room in the wheel well to accommodate them.

I am keeping the 32" (265/75-16) tires. I am hoping for an improved glide off road. I will ask Jason to set the shocks up to the first notch above stock (.085") when he installs them. The back is fine. Keeping 20 psi in the back Ride Rites (actually 24 on the driver's side for the Tacoma lean and my weight)!!!

The back ones were worn out, one was all oily on the outside. The front ones were very weak. These were the stock TRD Bilsteins... with about 78,000 miles (5 years old).
