Good morning back at ya Rob. Detailing our car today. I hope I am up to the task. Took a little break after washing it. Going to take a few before pics for another forum and then some after pics. Trying out a new all in one polish sealant. Hope it works well. My wife is tough on car finishes.

For Rob and of course Susan.

Today I finally blocked off time to clean the exterior of our Bonneville. My friend, Ryan, has been telling me about HD Speed. This is my first detail with an All In One, AIO, product. I was very impressed with the ease of use and the correction performed with one pass on a car body panel. I have a couple of before and after pics, passenger side front hood and drivers side mirror, as well as some finished pics. The wheels were a challenge as well. They were a mess. For the body I used a Rupes polisher with a blue microfiber pad. The speed was set on 5. The wheels and tires I used DuPont chrome cleaner followed up with DP Wheel glaze, the tires I used Zaino Z-16. Total time invested was just under 5 hours if you count the wash time. Tomorrow I will do the interior. We are off to Michigan later next week and I wanted the Bonneville to look its best. Not bad for an 11 year old car with 140 thousand miles on it.

    Rims wax
    Glass wax.
It said wax on the can.. :)

Wow! That's impressive Tom. The product is "HD Speed?" I might need to look into that, thank you. Bonneville looks great!

THX Rob I was a little tired this morning but after my vitamins and 2 cups of coffee I am ready to go. Cleaning the interior will be easy. I did a decent interior clean 2 weeks ago.

I now want to do the Tacoma. Maybe on Monday.

OK....I gotta admit....I'm not 60 (yet). I turn 58 day after tomorrow. I'm just sort of "scouting the competition" for a couple years down the road. I have to say, looks like being 60 MIGHT just be kinda fun! Y'all got it goin' on!

    Morning all:
58 is close enough, pull up a chair on the porch and fill up the coolers! Welcome!

    Car looks good Tom!
Funny, when we went hunting Maine I would have the truck totally cleaned up for the trip. When we got back it was a total mess!

Another beautiful sunset, can't beat mother nature.

After watching the video of the scooter in the snow I may have to get one for ice fishing. I can't believe that it can go that well on snow covered ice.

My old friend & neighbor had stroke #2 last night.
The Dr. only gives him a week or so.
The last WW2 Vet. I know. Saw alot of my F.I.L. & Dad in him.
We are all so much poorer without these folks around. Say a few nice words for Glen if you can. I would appreciate it. Thanks:oldglory:

 Hi sixtys. Back from vacation, today is 'put everything away again' day. BIL brought his open water kayaks this time. We had a lot of fun in them out on Buzzard's Bay, although I have to admit the day with the 3-foot swells got me me puckered up a few times. I should take some courses on how to recover from being dumped in the drink I guess.

I use wax on all of those too. It's in the carwash liquid. :anonymous:
It's great, besides there's not a damned thing you can do about it so you may as well smile and enjoy it.
Sorry to hear about your friend and neighbor. My grandmother had two strokes; it's a tough thing to have happen to people with vitality and a joy for life. We're keeping good thoughts for you Ken!

*Cough* except you aren't. We have several wannabes hanging around...
    ...here's one now! :homer:
