    For you hardcore tatical FPS gurus, Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising, is your wet dream.

    Rambo run & gun types need not apply. Simulation at its finest & its not for everyone. (patience and planning)

    Possible one shot one kill lurks at all times. (lost count how many times Ive died)

    This game offers 5 tips for survival;

    1- Use the terrain to your advantage, even small folds in the ground
    or a less direct route to your destination can minimize your exposure
    to enemy fire.
    2- If you can see the enemy, he can see you. Do not take the enemy
    for granted.
    3- Look after your men & they will look after you.
    4- If your plan A isnt working, break contact & rethink your strategy.
    5- If all else fails call in the Artillery.

    Blake best advice I can give for a new PS3 owner. Rent the games from Blockbuster before you buy them. So you don't waste your money on a mediocre game. I've started doing this instead of forking out $60 on my limited game budget. That is how I found Dirt2. Best driving game ever! Grand Theft Auto 4 is an excellent choice.

    It takes some time. I sucked at it when I first rented it. I bought it a few weeks ago. Now I'm level 30 & much better. One thing I had to learn, you have to use the brakes. You can't always go all out.

    My 12 year old son can kick my ass on the game. I just get him to complete tracks I can't get through.

    Harden your bark, there are storms on the horizon.
    also a lot of demos available on PSN for free. i tried the Killzone 2 demo, and wasn't feeling it...no money wasted on rental or purchase. i am however considering two rents at the moment...Ultimate Alliance 2 and Brutal Legend. i like a good button masher every once in a while. the first ultimate alliance was pretty damn fun. Brutal Legend looks like a good time from the previews/commercials i've seen...plus Lemmy, Lita Ford and Ozzy make guest appearances.

    Netflix’s streaming movie and TV service will be made available to Sony’s 9 million PlayStation 3 customers under a distribution partnership announced Monday.

    Netflix said it will begin streaming through the PS3 next month ( PlayStation blog). The move gives Netflix another leading game console for streaming—it also has a deal with Microsoft’s Xbox.

    One potential complication for the Sony-Netflix pact is that it will require a “streaming Blu-ray disc” that will need to be in the PS3 to show the movies and TV episodes available. The disc uses Blu-ray’s BD-Live technology to get to the Internet and activate Netflix. Simply put, the disc isn’t as smooth as a straight embed of the Netflix service. Netflix subscribers will have to order the disc—it’s free.
