Internet hype is almost always bullshit. However, this is pretty legitimate IMHO. These animals are going extinct. My kid's children aren't going to know wtf all these critters are because assholes with more money and ego than humanity think it's self-aggrandizing to go on exotic hunts for endangered animals. Fuck them all.

I'm all for hunting, but hunt ethically and responsibly. If someone thinks its A-okay to hunt elephants, lions, cheetahs, or other endangered animals, there is something very very wrong with them.

I don't see you driving an Eco friendly vehicle. You're destroying the environment for my future children. How many trees have you ever planted and how much paper do you use?
Yes. Protecting endangered animals should be a priority. But you also live in a city that was built in place of many animals homes. Can't pick and choose IMO. A rich man killed a lion. Its done. Nothing will bring it back. Its not the end of the world. We have much bigger problems to worry about.

 

So many people wanna protect animals and the environment but destroy everyday by themselves as well. Lions may be extinct one day. And sure, our great grandkids may never get to see one. But every species on earth can't coexist forever with us.

 

Kinda like "oh em gee a rich guy killed a lion.. We should all riot" but when an oiltanker spills delivering oil we all use and kills thousands of animals, its okay. We still use the oil without hesitation.

He did the same thing we all do on a daily basis. Just he did it directly while we do it indirectly.

 

My whole thought process on the thing is this...

Who the fuck cares? They're god damn animals. You know how my life's been affected since it was killed? Not a fucking bit. Know how my life would be affected if lions were extinct? Not a fucking bit. Time for people to start caring about shit that actually matters.
