Hi! I've been lookin around here asking questions about towing but am happy to say that I picked up my:

    Radiant Red/FL13
    Port: BC RAilhead
    FE 50 state emission
    DZ am/fm/cd 6 spkr 6 disk
    OC TRD Offroad
    CF Mats and Door Sill

I found that in all the excitement there is no VSC. Was wondering if that all so important?

The wierd Story is that this is a 2008 and it only had 28 miles on it. The Dealer said that a Salesperson in 2008 wrote an offer on it and then days later the offer fell thru and the Salesperson didn't re-enter the car into inventory and left it out back where it wasn't, "Out on the line." So, they put it out and I bought it...

Not sure but it might be one of those Whopper stories...

Anyway, as I was looking under the car, i saw that the rear differential was leaking from the lower Bolt. My SA had them install fluid and tighten bolt. I climbed under there and dried everything off really well and i'll check it again after some driving.

Thanks to all the folks who helped me when making my decision. I'm glad I found this site or i might have bought a Ridgeline...

    Here are some 4:30am pics...lol

If the vehicle actually sat THAT long without being driven is never good:(. Seals dry up and will leak. I could be very concerned about gaskets and seals. Watch for leaks for awhile.

I have an '06 Rad Red DC TRD Sport. The Rad Red definately turns heads!!

I'm sure that is what happens in the Bay Area at 4:30 in the morning.

Good score. It looks pristine. I guess it's possible for a vehicle to be go unaccounted for but it's kind of surprising in this economy that the funds wouldn't be accounted for.

Have fun with your new toy.

Congrats. Now go get the leaf spring tsb for your hauling your boat. Square hole is for storage I guess. I don't use mine becuase it's covered up by my bedbox.

I've heard the square holes in the bed is how the bed is dropped into the truck at the factory.

Thanks for the warm welcome! The Taco is really a nice truck to drive. I tet drove Frontier, Silverado, Ridgeline and the Toyota felt the tightest, strongest, and most refined.

You saw my first post, and unfortunately I don't have the JBL system. I hope to do some sort of touch screen, Nav, and DVD. I see you guys have a audio section here so that will help out a lot!

I'll get some more pics up, but I did take one of the leaf springs. Was wondering if the letters menat anything?

Nope, UWS LoPro box. It's a bedbox. If you haven't had a truck before I recommend one, You'll find it infinitly useful. It's like a trunk, you don't have to worry about the stuff getting wet or stolen. I carry tools, tow straps and stuff for my biz.
