Exactly what I was thinking. Do chief Joseph through Cooke city. Then down into the park a bit. Just gotta see if we can run down to old faithful and do Tue main loop before going out.

 

Ha, that is definitely the long route. Probably add more that two hours. Powell to CDA going through Laurel or Columbus on I-90 is the fast route at ~8 hours. Going through Cooke City and then back down to Old Faithful will likely add 4-5 hours to your drive time.

Realistically, you may have to choose between chief joseph/cooke city and old faithful.

 

Yea it looks like going through the park from Cooke city and down to old faithful and out west yellowstone is only 12 hours. Not too bad. I was planning on leaving early early.

Going back up and through Gardiner adds another hour. There is construction up south of livingston

Going through the North Fork and up Gardiner is 11.5 hours

North fork and West yellowstone is only 10.75...so 11.

Tough call there..

 

If your gonna stop at old faithful, better an an hour or so for that too.

Thinking cooke city and out west yellowstone is the best way. Best views. Get to go through Lamar and Hayden valley. And along the lake.

Capped all the tubes on swing out. Painted it.

Fabbed a headache rack sorta for three antennas

Installed two ham radios.

Been a good day.

 

Alot more productive than mine. Finished up my satoshi grille, and avoided the rally traffic as much as possible

 

Motorcycles in the mountains are nuts right now.

You find those lights?

 

Looks good, no longer a belly dragger. Are happy with the way it rides/drives?

Would look much better without those steps. They need to go IMO.

Cleaning dishes while camping??? I'd be more concerned with garbage haha

Just use as little as possible. Mostly just wipe them clean for the trip then scrub them at home

Idk if the steps will go. Not till sliders.

Rides good. Rear is a bit stiff. Needs some weight.

 

Located them this afternoon, gonna clean them off, and wire them up real quick tomorrow, I'll post some pics, once I know they work.
