    SR5 Off Road PKG lifted
    Greetings,

My wife and I just inherited my father-in-law's 2000 Tacoma SR5 with Off Road Package 131k. It appears to be lifted with huge tires. My father-in-law was a Master ASE Mechanic and he loved this truck more than life itself. We looked under the hood and the engine looks like it just came from the showroom. The oil is glistening and she runs perfect.

What can you tell me? We've never owned a truck before, we love driving it and are going to keep it. My buddy is a Car Broker and a truck fan and he says it's worth well over $20k with everything he did to it, but that re-sale would be around $10k so we're keeping it. I can take photos of anything if that will help but I'm mainly interested in opinions from other drivers. Can't wait for the Colorado snow to see what she's really made of.

I'd like to ask if anyone has any suggestions as to the style, make, etc of a Lock Box/Tool Box I can have installed. There's just no place to safely secure anything outside the cab.

    Thanks for having these forums,
    Dave
