I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
Yeah they could of done the same thing i did. I was like WTF! Then i seen the files i uploaded and felt like a dumb ass! Ive got a 20x60 of half my sons face that looks great but the image is softened so i expected it to look the way it does.

Would i pay full price hell no there are much better outlets out there but for 78% off i couldn't pass it up.

Nice! Definitely going to put an order in today then.
I feel like 300dpi jpg should be fine but who knows what color space they're using.

nice dynamic range. wouldn't have hurt to lighten the cityscape lights on the horizon, though

Thanks! I had about 10 huge flood lights flooding the balcony with light and they made a halo around the lens even with the hood on it so I had to darken it to get rid of the halo. The horizon was really nice in it too. I had the tripod as far back against the building as it would go and trying to block the light with my visor too. Got to love casino's wanting to light the entire building up.

Wow, I see what you mean. I took a copy from your flickr and tried to correct it, no bueno. with such a long lens, you probably could have used a makeshift tube of construction paper, paper, or whatever, to block the light scatter coming in to your lens's field of view, kinda like a lens hood, but extending it further out to minimize the incoming light. kind of like a lampshade for a dog. of course, YMMV, but it was the first thing that came to mind while trying to process your photo.

I was wondering if it may could have been lightened some and then burn it in around the halo to knock it down some. I kind of still think it would be noticeable though.

edit: Forgot to add that a make shift hood may have worked if I was closer to the 200mm end but, I noticed as soon as my hat got close to the hood it was showing in the frame.
