ya it was easier putting them back in since i knew exactly where they were

 

Once you start taking it apart, you'll see. I just heated the light and started pulling. It's kinda hard to get started, but once it's started, it's pretty easy to finish.

 

exactly! that initial separating is hard but once its open its pretty easy


wear some mechanics gloves chris for a better grip while its warm

just when it first comes out of the oven its a lil warm. i had to let it cool a lil before i could start to really pull it apart

 

Yeah, I wore gloves, too. Definately helps.

 

i had my truck undercoated the weekend before i did my bhlm so the back of my headlights were covered in a slick fluid!

made trying to get a drip a lil difficult

 

I kept mine on until the pieces were apart... that way the goo wasn't on my hands while handling the parts to do the rest of the process.

 

I started as soon as it came out of the oven... didn't want it to start to cool before I had it apart

 

i didnt wear gloves and had the sticky stuff on my hands

 

What did they undercoat it with? Oil? I thought it was like the old spray in bed liner

 

i went with a company that uses various chemicals to undercaot. they spray absolutely everything! including the engine bay
