    Hey guys im new to the site but have been into toyotas all my life.

    I am familiar with lifs and everything, but am on a tight budget.

    I want 6 inches of lift period.

    Now since i am on a budget i was thin kin a 3 inch suspension with a 3 inch body, i know i know body lifts= bad

    my other option is just a 6 inch suspension. Could io please get some input on what everyone else thinks? i have seen a pic of the 3+3 before and looks ok.

    Also if i do get the 6 inch suspension, im looking for a good price and place that does good work. thanks for reading and your time.

    4.10 gears, sliders, and lots of buttons.
    If you want a 6" lift, dont go with a body lift. They will break thru the cab down the line if you wheel it.

    I looked this up too man, I was gonna do it. If you are absolutley set, pro comp and fab tech really make the only 6" lifts. They have a spacer lift and a coilover lift. When I looked into it the spacer lift was around $1800 and the coilover was around $2800. If I were to go 6" this would be the only way I would go.

    ok thanks for the info. i probably will go with the 6 inch suspension from procomp. i need a price quote for labor and parts from a good company. i am willing to go to phx

    how hard is the install for a 6 inch lift? i am mechanically inclined, just didnt know the difficulty level

    Its not too hard. The hardest part is cutting the cross member.

    why does the cross member need to be cut? also is there a huge difference in the procomp stage 1 and stage 2? is the extra 1000 dollars worth it?

    You get different coil overs. Yes...I think its worth it. The cross member is cut to allow the front diff to be lowered.

    Well...You said you have experiance with lifts (installing?), so Im guessing you can do it. If you havent done a lift before, have a shop, or someone you know that has, help you.

    Ya, if you are going with a 6" I would save up and go with the stage 2. I found a tire wholesaler where I live that can get the stage 2 for $2200, I was gonna go that route. I just really didnt want to cut the cross member. There are deals out there, just gotta find them. I was told 4 wheel parts is a good place to deal with.

    Hell, if you can do that stuff, a lift is easy. DIY and save some cash. You and a couple buddies should be able to do it in a day.
