    Drove around 50 highway miles on it with my butt clenched the entire time. Music wouldn't go loud enough.

    Been making noise for 6 months are so. Happened pulling away from the airport parking lot hehe

    Just a rebuild for now. Just bought a house so money is tied up with that right now, or I would have just had them build me a new rear end. On the lookout for a Econoline 9" rear now for a budget build. No sense in paying what the 2 white Trac trucks did for the Currie rears being a semi float. But will probably have Currie make the axles.

    I've seen a couple that solid mount the hubs to the frame. Kinda like a boat trailer I guess.

    All my boat trailers, jet ski trailers, utility, toy hauler, and otherwise all had either leaf spring or torsion. I've never heard of welding hubs strait to a frame.

    Regardless...Matt's has leaf springs. Just because I saw that trailer on CL :spy:

    That's what I found on a quick google search. There might be a leaf spring tucked up there but the little trailer I had when I raced bikes didn't have leafs from what I can remember.

    There are more types of trailer suspension than just leafs. Regardless if that has springs or torsion or otherwise, that's a turf trailer. They don't go more than 10-15 miles an hour around a golf course.
    Every DOT trailer I have ever seen has some form of suspension.

    Nah, I was going to have one built. To have one built was going to run me around $4500 plus, and found this and and made a $1500 offer and they accepted. Tested everything and its working perfect. Just had to rewire for a 7 pin instead of the 4 pin it had.

    Picked up an Eezi-Awn Series 3 1800 off a local member to add to the trailer.

    List of things to do before the wife and I make a maiden voyage up the coast in a few months. Love to hear anyones suggestions!
    • Add 1 more cross support under the tent (180lbs tent with bedding)
    • Get rid of pintle hitch in favor of ball coupler and hitch
    • Replace existing axle (square tube) with a new 3500lbs axle with matching Toyota hubs and electric brakes.
    • 33" tires and wheels and a spare. Truck will go back to 33's next time.
    • Add brake controller and battery system
    • Add license plate light
    • Plan fresh water tank and tongue box
    • Add tailgate cable
    • Add snap on tonneau cover to the box
    • Spray some grey plastic dip on the trailer for a paint match
