    Can someone please explain what the deal is with fake stick-on vents? I swear every other car on the road has them.

    I think they're the most ridiculous thing since spinning hubcaps. Am I missing something?

    I don't understand it either. Some people just don't have any style. I saw a Titan the other day that had probably every trim piece you can buy in chrome and had chrome fender vents. It was the most god awful truck I have ever seen. I will try and find it and get pictures of it.

    I think the current Pep Boys craze can be traced to the Buick Lucerne from 2006 and the Cadillac Escalade in 2007. Most of the vents I see look similar to these.

    I just saw the next great evolution of the stick on vents... stick on vent stickers!!! That's right, the actual stick on vent was not enough awesomeness, they needed a more fake stick on alternative to the aerodynamicly inefficient weakness of a true stick on vent.

    God I wish I had a picture of the truck that had them. Pretty sure they had flames in the vent sticker.
